[Review] - Review the Phuket-Samet Nangshe by Ferry Advice

If we talk about Phuket, there is no one who does not know about this province. This trip was made immediately because I missed my close friends since highschool. Why did we end up with Phuket province? It was because when we traveled from Singapore to Phuket province, it was convenient enough for my friends to meet there. When I missed my friends, I did not want to work. I wanted to meet and hug my friends instead due to how much I missed them. We started to travel on the morning flight, Bangkok, as it was.

We used the same airline that we used regularly. We sat for 1 hour and 25 minutes to arrive at Phuket province. Before the plane arrived, we made an appointment with a car rental to wait for us at the airport. In this picture, this is a white rental car. The advantage for using a booked service with this company is that even if we do not have a credit card, we still get the specification of the car as 1.6 or 1.8. For a more expensive car, you have to use a credit card which is for 1 thousand Baht per day. I think the cost of the car can be acceptable because we used to get in the taxi that was quite expensive. Before we got in the car, let’s take pictures everywhere of the car to check if it had some scratches, so that we had evidence and no problem when we returned the car back. We had to check even the spare tires, too. Checked everything, checked the time that we had to return the car back, we had to save ourselves.

When we were driving to my friends, we stopped by and went shopping for bags in the Phuket market.  Shopping as you liked, my friends. On this trip we had 4 people traveling together.

After my friends finished shopping, we were hungry, so let's find lunch quickly! Our first restaurant on this trip, we searched on the internet and found that the foods here are delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is old wood style, which has both an air conditioner zone and a fan zone.

This is crispy prawn in tamarind glaze. The prawns were big and tasty. 

This is fried pork belly with fish sauce. The menu name may seem hard to remember, please do not blame me.

This is crab meat curry with fermented rice noodles. The taste was quite intense.

The next place in our trip plan was Samet Nangshe. Let's go!

This is Sametnangshe Boutique. This restaurant had a beautiful and good atmosphere.

The view in the dining room was gorgeous in the evening. I fell in love with Phang Nga already.

This place has the service for setting up the tent. You can use this service at the resort for setting up the tent and sleeping. For this service, we do not know the price.

We ate right away as we arrived at the resort. Look at the faces of my friends. He still wanted to eat shrimps, but the resort was far from the hospital. Please choose other menus.

This is a fresh vegetable dish, chili shrimp paste. The dish was very delicious! The food here had a spicy taste. Usually, I am not eating spicy food, but it might be hard to find in the South. Well, let me drink a lot of cold water instead.

The second item on the menu is squids. The taste was similar to Yum. It had a little sour taste.

The third item on the menu is fried snapper with fish sauce. The sauce was the best. In this restaurant, every menu was quite tasty.

The mango juice was the best also. Another menu that I would recommend. Let’s say goodbye with the tasty food in our mouths and head back to the accommodation. We arrived there around 08.00+ pm. I wanted to rest now, let’s talk again tomorrow.

I woke up in the morning before going to the sea today. As we had a chance to travel in Phuket province, we had to eat Dim Sum as well. If not, then we have not really arrived in Phuket province. This time we went to the Chokchai Dim Sum.

The menus were placed in trays like this. We could pick as much as we liked. They also had other menus like chicken with marinated rice, blood tofu soup, etc. You can add on the order for eating as much as you like.

Dim Sum menus had so many choices for you to choose based on your own favorites. Some restaurants may tell us to walk around and pick out the steamer, but this restaurant served us in the big tray at once.

The drinking menus also had a lot of choices as you like. This morning we already paid 417 Baht, which was not expensive for 4 people. For the food taste topic, we thought that they were delicious enough for eating depending on what you like. 

We drove to park at “Cape Panwa” as we wanted to go to Hae Island. We did not buy on any one day trip because the weather during this time in Thailand changed really fast. The other reason was that we wanted privacy with our friends as we did not like to be with so many people. This depends on your choice. We searched on the internet as usual and then contacted a long-tail boat to take us to Hae Island. The price that we got was 2,500 Baht for private from 09.00 am - 03.00 pm.

For your information: The uncle that we contacted, his name is Bang Dul. We searched on the internet and got his phone number. We already booked the boat which was a long-tailed boat as we promised. When we arrived there, he instead asked us again about the boat choice like a long-tailed boat or a small speed boat. He said that if we choose a small speed boat, we could drive around as well. As he recommended us, we thought that a small speed boat looked cool. Then we chose this boat right away.

Bang Dul told my friend to drive a boat, too. Hahaha! It was the first time Khun Porsche drove a boat. His friends screamed a lot because it was scary and exciting at the same time. Well, we arrived at Hae Island in 30 minutes.

We arrived at Hae Island. Our speed boat docked at the edge. They had ropes and floating balls to protect the boat from being docked here due to the risk of destroying the coral line. Then the officer drove a rubber boat to take us forward to the island. Hae Island is free of charge. You can buy food to eat on the island.

This island was very clean. Everything here was designed to be harmonious with nature. The front beach had a fine white sand to play in the water. We could rent a kayak boat as well, but the queue was quite tight. We had to do a pre-booked.

I am a very continuous eater. My friends were playing in the water. Let them do what they like. I wanted to eat first.

Koh Hae - You don’t need to be dumped away before coming here. This island had clear water, white sand, and so many tourists. If you want to come here, we recommend you to come in the morning. In that time you will have a chance to find a place to sit for a good view before others.

Hae Island front beach does not have that much length. People usually played on the water here which was also a pick-up and drop-off point, but the officer would block the area to not let the boat dock here.

After we played in the water, we had lunch as soon as possible. We did not finish playing in the water that fast, but the rain came which made the sky overcast.

This is a fried fish dish.

This is a spicy glass noodle salad dish.

This is a seafood tom yum soup dish.

After we filled our stomachs, our eyes started to drop. At first, Bang Dul told us that he would take us to dive in the back zone. Unfortunately, the waves were high and he was scared of the danger that would happen to us. He told us that they had so many fish. We told him back that there was no problem, we were not that serious since we wanted to have a safe trip. We would be lying on the island instead.

This person was a model for our trip. I took pictures for him throughout the trip both left and right. 

After we got back to the land, we did not forget to do one thing every time. We payed the homage to Sadet Tia, His Royal Highness, Prince Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak. This time we asked him to bless us with our safety every time while traveling on the sea. After we paid our homage to Sadet Tia, we headed back to the accommodation to take a bath and had some rest to make the tired feeling go away.

For our dinner, we went to the Parknam Seafood restaurant. My friend found a review that said the foods here are delicious. The first item on the menu looks like seafood tom yum with squid. I am sorry that I cannot remember the right name of a menu.

We wanted to have a late night meal before sleeping, so we walked around at “Lard Yai” which looks like a walking street. It had so many foods selling there which were not expensive. I thought that it was similar to our flea market but more luxurious and had night music to listen to. 

Let us stop by and eat some ice creams to cool down a bit. We went there at almost 09.00 pm, so some stores started to close. 

In my opinion, I like the mango flavored one. I felt fresh after I ate this.

After we had some ice cream already, we would like to buy our favorite things. My friends liked clothes, so they bought some of them to wear in Singapore. 

After we bought them, we had to say goodbye to our friends that we will travel together again next time. My friends had to head back to Singapore, so they separated to have a rest at the hotel near the airport.



He still called to tell us that he missed us so much. He did not sleep because he was too busy taking photos. Hahaha!
